What should I check in order to pass the ITV the first time?

First step

Visually inspect the vehicle body. See that there are no deformations or sharp edges.

Second step

Check the rear-view mirrors are in good condition and firmly fixed.

Third step

All doors and seat belts close and remain secure without problems.

Fourth step

The horn works in case we have an emergency situation on the road.

Fifth step

We have liquid in the windscreen washer reservoir.

Sixth step

Examination of the lighting, including the headlights, dipped and full beam, brake lights, indicators, reversing lights, and fog lights all work correctly.

Seventh step

Check the tread depth of the tyres and that there are no deformations.
